We use our diode laser applicator for the removal of more stubborn facial spider veins, particularly on the cheeks and nose areas.
The treatment takes on average 30 minutes and the skin will feel hot and be slightly red afterwards. As the laser cauterises the veins they will appear slightly darker after the treatment and the body will slowly reabsorb them over 4 to 5 days. The use of sunscreen is very important when doing any laser treatment and we recommend to have the treatment in the winter months.
It can take up to 5 sessions at 4 weekly intervals to achieve clearance of the spider veins.
